""Glass and Basset bring passion and fire to their friendly yet diametrically opposed characters... It’s clear this outfit is well-experienced, well-oiled, and professional-grade. Alone is definitely not one to miss!"

"...the standing ovation in theatre (richly deserved), and admiring audience discussions afterwards (also correct response) prove how perfectly events unfolded on ‘The Lily of the Nile’. There is no way on Earth (or outer space) anyone who sees ‘Alone’ will forget what happens. This will probably make a great film at some stage, but being in the same room as the real people involved is class above effective."

""I genuinely don’t remember the last time I was so invested in a piece of theatre. Alone is a sci-fi thriller that explores feminism, climate change, space, and whether tomato sauce belongs in noodles. Beginning to end, I am with them every step of the way."

“I went to a stunning play tonight, an original, suspenseful and genuinely moving script showcasing the talents of two amazing actors. I didn’t move for 90 mins."

Aboard a crowd-funded spacecraft called ‘The Lily of the Nile’, a two-woman crew are on the home stretch of a two-year mission that could provide a solution for an Earth ravaged by climate change.

Pragmatic and passionate Doctor Sarah Taylor believes her work with foreign micro-bacterium could make Earth habitable once more. Jessica Holland – a charismatic and quick-witted young pilot - is charged with getting Doctor Taylor’s work and samples home.
